recently had a talk with a friend of mine.. she did change alot.. to the prettier side.. yes! definitely.. but.. there's sth in her.. she looked more happy.. yup.. instead of stressing everyday... we chance upon this topic..

tt 2 words.. really make me settle down to think for quite abit..
lets nt put it the biblical way..

i really couldnt see why am i here for.. in a mundane world.. whats my purpose here?
in singapore.. everyday's a rat race.. doing the same old thing everyday.. when finally able to settle down to relax.. we would feel weird... weird in a sense.. tt we have nth to do.. this process of hecticness have been instilled in our brain.. ultimately whats the point of doing the same old things over and over again..

education.. have been one important factor to kids in singapore.. every kid in singapore must atleast have 10 yrs of education complusary.. this 10 yrs..basically most kids learn loads frm school due to the pressure of teachers and parents.. with the basic reason of succeeding in the society.. what about the minority of the kids? due to the pressure and stress.. they gave way.. seeking suicide.. and turning to gangsters.. cause their parents dont understand how they feel.. how things really work out.. bad company out there can feel for those kids.. as they've been through this..

O level results are coming out less then a week or so.. this cert will depend our future.. w/o this cert.. ur out of the race to succeed.. ultimately.. is that the main purpose for parents? definitely they would want you to do well.. but when their friends compare their kids result.. by nt doing so well.. they could lose face.. would take it out on their kid.. of course this will happen to some.. nt many.. so back to the point.. is education for us? or parents?

have u eva wondered... the day ur born till the day u died.. its a sport life span of 60 yrs.. take me for example.. 1989-2049... this would engrave of my tombstone.. or even worst.. burn and put my remanence in an urn.. what does the - mean? does it refer to the number of yrs i've live? and what can i tell people? tt i've been mugging for the past 60 yrs.. to keep up with the technology? keeping up with the rat race? in order nt to lose to my peers? what does the - really signify? have i really make a name for myself? and remembered by my descendants? can i tell ppl proudly in heaven or so tt my - in my tombstone was a - of importance..? or rather i could proudly proclaim.. nah.. the - refer to the yrs i've been struggling to keep up..

what have the years of struggling brought us to? to keep up with fame? to keep up with Recognition by people?
